Who we are

The Errant Book is an idea created and developed by the association Amu Daria.


Amu Daria, a cultural association created in Barcelona in 2007, was born with the objetive of promoting the silk route and improving the cultural exchange between Catalonia and the countries of this route. The association is made up of people interested in history and art, passionate about photography, love of travel stories, the legends and traditions ... and above all, people who want to discover, share and learn from the people and cultures of the Silk Road: Turkey, Middle East, Caucasus, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Xinjiang, Tibet, Mongolia and China.
